First Nations has *dared* me to post a video here.
On my other blog, she ordered me to amend a post in which I had implied that Buddy Holly was Rodney Bickerstaffe.
She claimed that the picture of Buddy Holly/Rodney Bickerstaffe was in fact a young, freshfaced Tim Footman (author of the popular non-fiction book The “Rock And Roll” Jukebox And Why It Is Killing Off The Big Band And The Crooner).
She issued me with a “cease and desist” order.
I ignored her.
Within a few days, I was denied access to that blog.
I am still denied access to that blog.
So, without further ado, let me introduce … Leonard Nimoy.
*starts crying*
Woohoo!
I’ve had that on my iPod for years, Betty and I’ve never found anyone else who’d heard of it.
I believe the phrase “just plain wrong” was first coined for this song.
Dive – well, credit has to go to First Nations. I’d been fortunate enough to avoid having heard it until yesterday. “Just plain wrong” pretty much covers it. Geoff finds it a bit disturbing.
what song? where? I can’t hear any toons here, or there, or anywhere, what are you talking about??
happy hols – we’ll still be here, us care in the community types have nowhere else to go.
sadly I clicked on the V and found it – could have done without it if I’m honest.

Damn. You’re off on holiday before I got the chance to ask for a postcard!
Ziggi – that song is certainly very … individual, isn’t it?
Erindoors – probably in about a year, unless the installing bit goes to plan!
P & T – I don’t think you were missing much. We went to Norfolk, so the only postcards would’ve been of windmills or the Singing Postman. Not much to get excited about really.
